Howard Junior Philyaw

Mr. Howard Junior Philyaw of Holt, Florida, and a previous resident of Andalusia for over 20 years and Brewton for over 20 years, passed away Thursday, September 2, 2021, in a Crestview hospital. He was 70. Funeral services will be held at 3 pm, Tuesday, September 7, 2021, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel in Andalusia. Rev. John Hunt will officiate and his sister-in-law, Wanda Argersinger will give the eulogy. The family request that attending please wear mask per COVID regulations. Left to cherish his memory, his loving wife Sandra Miller-Philyaw of Holt, FL., Children, Tiffany Smith of Dothan, AL., Lindsey Philyaw of Panama City Beach, FL., Lucas Rawson (Lugenia) of Opp, AL., Christine English of Jasper, AL., Three grandchildren Daryin and Kayla Rawson of Little Elm, Texas., and Isac Ceil Philyaw of Panama City Beach, FL., A brother, Jerry Philyaw of Brewton, AL., and numerous nieces and nephews. Also left to miss his presence, his beloved chihuahua, "Bit-C" and other "poochies", "Trudy" and "Ollie" and his cat "Blu".
Mr. Philyaw served his country in Vietnam and, enjoyed hunting, and fishing, as well as spending time with his family and friends. He will be greatly missed.
The family ask in lieu of flowers, memorial contributions be made to the LUPUS Support Network, 5384 Harmony Lane, Gulf Breeze, FL 32563 and the American Cancer Society.
