Helen Heffner Obituary

Helen “Pete” Farmer Heffner, age 95 of Andalusia went to be with her Lord and Savior on November 12, 2023.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, November 15, 2023, at Keahey Chapel. The family will receive friends at Keahey Funeral Home one hour prior to the services. Rev. Derrick Stewart will officiate. Special music will be provided by Laverne Heffner, LaFerne Griggs and Rev. Derrick Stewart. Interment will follow in the South Church of God Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Chad Griggs, Dustin Dyess, Stanley Peters, Mark Hidle, Adrian Dyess and Wendell Dyess.

Left to cherish her memory, son, Michael Heffner; daughter, Kaye Bethea (Rusty); numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren; sisters, Lucille Stines, Beverly McDonald, Audrey Griggs (Dann).

She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Pralo Farmer and Viola Deas Farmer; loving husband, Gene Heffner; son, Terry Heffner, daughter, Frankie Dyess; brothers, Thomas Farmer, Dean Farmer; sisters, Frances McCarthy, Delma Buchanan, Martha Horner, Ricky Farmer.

Helen had been a wonderful homemaker and mother and a faithful member of Crossway Ministry Church of Andalusia.
