Mr. Harry James Clark, age 75, of Andalusia, passed away in a DeFuniak Springs, Florida nursing facility on Friday, June 15, 2018. He worked from 2007 until 2014 in the sporting goods department at the Andalusia Wal-Mart and was formerly a TV repairman, an Andalusia police officer, and a state trooper in Nevada. He was also a Vietnam War Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Peggy Odom Clark of Andalusia; two sons, John Thomas (Alicia) Clark of Laurel Hill, FL, and William Eric Clark (Bravo) of Atlanta, GA; and three grandchildren, Samantha Clark, John Thomas Clark, Jr., and Jordan Clark. He is also survived by his sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law: Elaine and Orea Thompson of Tallahassee, FL, Helen and Gerald Walker of Andalusia, and Rhetta and Ricky Brackin of Kinston.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Clark in 1997.
Memorialization is by cremation. A private family service will be held at a later date. Arrangements have been entrusted to Keahey Funeral Home.
