Harley (Patterson) Lambert Green

Mrs. Harley Patterson Lambert Green, age 93 of the Loango Community went to be with her Lord and Savior on Friday, March 3, 2023. She was surrounded by her loving family.

Funeral services will be held 3 p.m., Sunday, March 5, at Keahey Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services. Rev. Tyree Bowen will officiate and an eulogy will be delivered by her son-in-law, Jerry Varner. Burial will follow in Hopewell Baptist Church Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Jerritt Varner, Caleb Varner, Blake Lambert, Brock Lambert, Tony Cofield, Jimmie Kelly. Honorary pallbearers will be Tommy Myrick, Andy Coleman, Jody Kelly.

Left to cherish her memory, son and daughter-in-law, Gary and Rene Lambert of Elba; daughter and son-in-law, Susan and Jerry Varner of Loango; brother, Howard Patterson (Peggy) of Red Level; grandchildren, Blake Lambert (Maggie) of Decatur; Brock Lambert (Claire) of Elba; Jerritt Varner (Victoria) of Lucedale, MS; Caleb Varner (Mallory) of Andalusia; great grandchildren, Harleigh Varner, Olivia Varner, Madilyn Varner and Briggs Lambert.

She was a member of Presley Memorial Presbyterian Church. She loved her family, and her love was shown through her wonderful southern cooking. One of her favorite things to do was to have the ropers from the Varner Roping Pen to come across the dirt road to her house and sit down for a southern cooked meal. She was preceded in death by husbands, Dudley Lambert and Bo Green; parents, Daniel Elliot Patterson and Cleo Ward Patterson; brother, Horace Patterson, Harland Patterson and Ham-Bone Patterson; sister, Gus Stroud.
