Hank William Taylor

Hank William Taylor, age 69, of Florala, Alabama, passed away on February 6, 2026. He was born on June 25, 1956, in Florala, Alabama, to Gerald Nix Taylor and Sara Elizabeth Wilson.

Hank was a handyman who took pride in his work and could fix just about anything. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, working in his garden and tending to his flowers. Riding the roads and sitting by the campfire were some of his favorite pastimes.

He is survived by his daughter, Casey Lynn Becker of Florala, Alabama; brothers, Paul Taylor (Linda) of Libertyville, Alabama, Carl Taylor of Florala, Alabama, and Bobby Taylor (Milissie) of Wing, Alabama; sisters, Betty Davis (Gary) of Pensacola, Florida, and Sara Nichols (Larry “Nick”) of Red Level, Alabama; and grandchildren, Taylor Butler, JJ Butler, and Scott Soukup.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Gerald Nix Taylor and Sara Elizabeth Wilson, and his brother, Gerald Taylor, known as “P. Jink.”

Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 8, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Enon Baptist Church, with Bobby Taylor, Tracy Nichols, and Paul Taylor officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service beginning at 1:00 p.m. at the church.

Graveside services will follow at the Enon Baptist Church Cemetery.
