Mr. Franklin Durl Willis,Sr. of Andalusia passed away Friday, October 26, 2018, in the Georgiana Nursing Facility. He was 82.
Graveside services will be held 3:30 p.m., Sunday, October 28, 2018, at Sepulga Cemetery. Rev. Tyre Bowen will officiate. The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m., Sunday at Keahey Funeral Home.
Survivors include sons, Kenny Willis (wife Rita) of McKenzie; Andy Willis (wife Candy) of Andalusia; Durl Willis, Jr. (wife Sally) of Thomasville; Eddie Willis (wife Patti) of Ogden, IL; daughter, Frankie McDonald (husband Ken);
Grandchildren, Cory Willis, Brandi Stinson, Tony Willis, Hayden Willis, Chad Gatlin, Laura Gatlin, Christopher Gatlin, Brad Griffin, Tiffany Brady, Sara Jane Campbell, Kristin June Willis, Ashleigh McDonald; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, James Earl Willis (wife Hilda) of Florida; sisters, Bernice Hall Baxter (husband Ernest), Virginia Willis of Altha, Florida; Mavis Mills (husband Tommy) of Altha, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Coy Willis and Lessie Mears Willis and brothers, Jack Willis, Mavern Willis, and Chester Albert Willis.
Serving as pallbearers will be Tony Willis, Brad Griffin, Cory Willis, Britt Campbell, J.J. Stinson, and Jeff Brady.
