Frances Hagler Obituary

Mrs. Frances Hagler, a lifelong resident of Blue Springs passed away peacefully at her home on Monday, November 19, 2018. She was surrounded by friends and family. She was 85.

Funeral services will be held 11 a.m., Wednesday, November 21, 2018, at the Blue Springs Word of Truth Church on Hwy. 10, Clio. Interment will follow in the Blue Springs Word of Truth Church Cemetery. Keahey Funeral Home of Clio is entrusted with arrangements. The family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Keahey Funeral Home in Clio.

Mrs. Hagler loved gospel music, especially Jimmy Swaggert’s music. She faithfully attended church all her life and was devoted to daily Bible study. She was always there to help anyone out in their time of need and was a true prayer warrior for anyone that asked for prayer. She was the daughter of the late Loyd and Lula Hagler.

Mrs. Hagler was preceded in death by her loving husband, Hubert Hagler. The couple had been married 58 years at the time of his death. She was also preceded in death by an infant son, Michael Hagler; sisters, Bernice and Elizabeth Hagler, and daughter-in-law, Angie Hagler.

She is survived by two sons, Kenneth Hagler (fiancé, Valerie) of Jack, Al; Bobby Hagler (Renee) of Blue Springs; daughter, Dana McDaniel of Blue Springs; grandsons, Heath Oglesby (Shannon) Shaun Hagler (Malorie); Nate Hagler (Melanie), granddaughters, Heather Oglesby, Kristi Sanders (Jeremy); Misti Sanders (Alex); Destiny and Diamond Green; 12 great-grandchildren; brothers, Charles Hagler and Junior Hagler; sisters, Janie Hagler; Judy Ellenburg (Mark); Peggy Simmons, Linda Oglesby (Dudley); sisters-in-law, Merle Smith, Voncille Shepherd, Mauline Moates and a host of nieces and nephews.

The family extends a special thank you to Alacare Hospice and her private nurse, Jody Knight, and nurse’s aides, Jennifer Merritt, Jessica Ivey, and her dedicated, loving sitters, Classie Whigham, Adilene Slater, Annette Glanton, and Mauline Moates.
