Ms. Felicia Castleberry Bass of the Loango Community passed away Friday, January 14, 2022, in a Dothan hospital. She was 60.
Funeral services will be held 1 p.m., Tuesday, January 18, 2022, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday at Keahey Funeral Home. Rev. Russell Broussard will officiate, and the eulogy will be given by Alan Woodard. Interment will follow in the Mt. Carmel Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Chad Bass, Kevin Watts, Tim Phillips, Danny McCollough, Mitch Donaldson and Russell Broussard.
Left to cherish her memory, son, Chad (DeAnna) Bass of Elba; brother, Jackie (Hilda) Hall of Opelika, AL; grandchildren, Joey Michelle Bass and Lewis Cameron Bass.
Felicia was preceded in death by her parents, Hillary and Aline (Phillips) Castleberry and her husband, the love of her life, Lewis Bass. She was a 1979 graduate of Red Level High School and attended LBW College earning a degree in Business Administration. Through the years she worked with Harper Electric, Grable Ricks Timber Co., and was employed with Alan Woodard Law Firm from 1994 to 2002 and from 2014 until present. She attended Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. Felicia was a wonderful mother and grandmother; her most favorite thing was playing with her grandchildren. She will be greatly missed.
