Farrell Gilmore, age 67 of Dozier, passed away June 26, 2025 in a Dothan hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, June 30, 2025 at Buck Creek Baptist Church (28649 Jim Foschee Road, Red Level, AL).The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday evening at Keahey Funeral Home. Rev. Tyler Ingram will officiate. Interment will follow in Andalusia Memorial Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brody Ingram, Rex Qualls, Corey Gunter, Russell Lee, Dusty Lee.
Left to cherish his memory, loving wife of 44 years, Teresa Wells Gilmore of Dozier; son, Timothy (Katrina) Bartley of Atmore, AL; daughters, Katrina (Jason) Fowler of Red Level, AL; Kanda Gilmore of Dozier, AL; brother, Kenny Gilmore of Dozier, AL; sisters, Mary Janice Baker of River Falls, AL; Shania Lunsford of Opp, AL; grandchildren, Taylor (Brody) Ingram, Jackson Bartley, Shelby Fowler, Tereka Gilmore, Farrell Logan Gilmore, Tamara Gilmore, Bella Bartley, Ellie Bartley, Hudson Bartley, Avery Fowler.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond Gilmore and Ethel Mae Sorrells, son, Ashley Logan Moore and daughter, Kathryn Bartley. Farrell was a 1977 graduate of Straughn High School and worked for 33 years at Cemex USA Ready Mix. In his retirement he enjoyed fishing, tinkering on something and spending all the time he could with his children and grandchildren.
