Eleanor Crews Glidewell Obituary

Mrs. Eleanor Crews Glidewell of Gantt passed away Sunday, June 14, 2020, at Andalusia Manor. She was 93.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, June 18, 2020, at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Wayne Sharpe will officiate. The family will receive friends at the cemetery 30 minutes prior to services.
Left to cherish her memory, daughter, Mala Elam (David) of Chapel Hill; daughter-in-law, Linda Crews of Palm Bay, FL; grandchildren, Daniel Elam of Hong Kong; Elizabeth Royal (Josh) of Charleston, SC; Angie Barker (Matt) of Palm Bay, FL; three great-grandchildren, Dylan, Logan, and Hanna.
She was preceded in death by husbands, James Crews, and Otis Glidewell; son, Harry Crews, and grandson, Michael Crews.
Mrs. Glidewell was a lifelong member of Gantt Baptist Church; she retired from the Alatex and greatly enjoyed being retired. She was a wonderful, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and will be missed.
