Earnesteen Cobb, age 91, of Signal Mountain Tennessee, formerly of Covington County, passed away peacefully on July 20, 2025.
Graveside services will be held at 12:00 noon on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at Bethany Baptist Church Cemetery, with Rev. Richie Hatcher officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Keahey Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
Teena was a devoted mother, grandmother, and educator. She retired after a rewarding career as a first-grade teacher with the State of Alabama, touching the lives of countless students with her patience, kindness, and dedication. In retirement, she embraced life fully—enjoying travel, reading, working puzzles, and spending cherished time with her family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bobby Cobb, and her parents, Sim and Emma Elder.
Left to cherish her memory are her loving children: Bobby Wayne Cobb (Marie) of Fairhope, AL
Janet Renae Brown (Curtis) of Orange Beach, AL and Mary Elizabeth Carter (Tommy) of Signal Mountain, TN. Grandchildren: Joseph Tyler Cobb (Kayla) , Mackenzie Jordan Brown, Brittany Renae Brown (Curt), Ana Rebecka May, Alyssa Dianne Hoo (Colton), and Lauren Elizabeth Tewalt (William), Great-grandchild: Ruby, Stone, Starla, Birch and Rocket.
Teena’s legacy of love, wisdom, and quiet strength will continue to live on in all who knew and loved her.
