Dorothy Jean (Pridgen) Prue

Dorothy Jean Prue, a loving mother and grandmother, passed away on April 22, 2023 at Southeast Health in Dothan, Alabama.  Born on July 31, 1936, in Florida, Dorothy committed her life to nursing and retired from Florida Community Hospital.  Even though she suffered heartache in her life when she lost her dear husband David in 2008, she never strayed from her love and compassion for her patients and community in Florala, Alabama,

Cynthia was a devoted mother to her two sons, Brett A. Prue of Florala and Bart Prue of Florida.  She doted on her 10 grandchildren and enjoyed some of the best times of her life with them.  She is preceded in death by her loving husband, David Byron Prue and her parents, E.C. and Estelle (Tyner) Pridgen.
