Dorothy Bernice Missildine

Dorothy Bernice Missildine, age 76 of Andalusia passed away October 12, 2023 at her residence. 

A public service will not be held; cremation was chosen. 

Left to cherish her memory, son, Ted Missildine of Andalusia, AL; Jennifer Missildine of Andalusia, AL; sister, Patricia Ainsworth of Gantt, AL; grandchildren, Kami Sutton, LillieAnna Russ, Jason Morgan, Tanner Brogden and Gavin Brogden; great grandchildren, Aiden Tyson, Landon Whitman, Melodie Peters, Ian Peters, Xavier Counts, and EllieAna Counts. She was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, “Wormy” Missildine, her parents, Luther Sawyer and Anna Kristina Jacobson Sawyer, sister, Mary Newell and daughter, Sandra Missildine.

Dorothy Bernice was unique and loved life; she loved to fish and when she lived on Brooklyn Road, there was a private pond she frequently fished; she liked to sleep, smoke cigarettes, loved to “fuss”, and watch NCIS and kept it on repeat! She will be greatly missed.
