Donnie Claude Ricks

Donnie Claude Ricks, age 79, passed away on January 23, 2026. He was born on July 23, 1946, in Montgomery, Alabama, to the late Lucious Ricks and Jane Ellen McNair.

Donnie was a faithful member of Southside Baptist Church and enjoyed spending time with others. He was known for his love of coffee and especially treasured his time dancing and socializing at the Adult Activity Center. Donnie’s joyful spirit and friendly nature will be remembered by all who knew him.

He is survived by his brother, Tobbie Ricks (Jane) of Andalusia, Alabama; his sister, Candace Bosch of Lake Martin; and numerous nieces and nephews who cherished him dearly.

For those wishing to pay their respects and visit with the family, they will be gathering at 18588 Sugar Road, Andalusia, Alabama 36420.
