Donald Wesley Taylor

Donald Wesley Taylor, age 90, passed away on December 28, 2025. He was born in Alabama on August 11, 1935, to Willie Taylor and Clara Pate.

Donald proudly served his country in the United States Army for four years. He later dedicated many years of service to Southern Bell Telephone Company, where he worked as a supervisor.

In his free time, Donald enjoyed fishing, hunting, and gardening, passions that brought him great peace and enjoyment.

He is survived by his loving daughters, Rita Williams of Chumuckla and Donna Daughtry of East Milton; his brother, Larry Taylor (Joan) of Red Level; his sister, Rachael Pollard of Andalusia; his grandchildren, Darrin Rich Williams and Vincent Van Daughtry; and four great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held Wednesday, December 31, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Bethesda Cemetery.
