Deborah "Debbie" June Turner of Red Level passed away Wednesday, July 24, 2024, at her residence. She was surrounded by her loving family.
Debbie is survived by her loving husband, James “Jimmy” Turner; daughter Brittany (Clay) Hatter; mother Monette (Davis) Tolar; nieces Breyanne Osborne, Tabitha (Travis) Wells, Jennifer Martin, Sheila (Richard) Burgner, Julie (Ruddy) Robb, Lisa (Charlie) Owen, Jenna (Ben) Crosby; nephews Garrett Todd, Dale (Stacey) Story, Jeremy (Laurie Ann) Kirk, Jerod Turner; grandchildren Williams James Tucker Hatter and Sadie Cameron Hatter;
She is preceded in death by her son Cameron Turner; sister Jane “Janie” Bronson; and father Edward Tolar.
Debbie was a devoted wife, a caring daughter, loving mama and granny. A proud born again believer in our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ she was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church shepherded by her brother in-law Jerry Turner. She sponsored a child through Friends of the Good Samaritan. Her hobbies included cooking, baking and fishing. Most of her time was spent as a homemaker, raising her children, and working on the farm. She was a thrift store enthusiast, talented vocalist and had a charitable heart to all in need.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, July 27, 2024, at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, 23324 Loango Road, Red Level, AL, 36474. The family will receive friends from 10 a.m., until time of the services. She will be laid to rest at Memory Hill Cemetery in Dothan, Alabama next to her son, Cameron.
