Deborah Lorisa King

Beloved Deborah Lorisa King of Lockhart, Alabama passed away unexpectedly January 4, 2023, at her residence.

 Left to cherish her memory were her four daughters: Dr. Jessica Quattlebaum, Laura Beth King, Myra Ellen King and Angelica Crites of Baker, Florida.  She was blessed with ten beautiful grandchildren: Gabriella, Cheri, Olivia, Bella, Leo, Isaiah, Allysa, Brayden, Camrie, and Grace. She was also survived by her soulmate, Jeffrey Dean King of Holt, Florida; her two brothers Douglas King of Tallahassee, Florida and Scottie King of Panama City, Florida; and her sister Sheila Vega of Lockhart, Alabama.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Jean Coon Courtney; father, Curtis Wayne King; and brother, Michael Dewayne King.

Lorisa, as she was known to us, was a beautiful soul.  She was generous measure and kind to everyone she ever met.  She raised children that weren’t hers and loved them unapologetically.  She always had a gift for all of her friends and family, but she was truly the gift. Lorisa will be missed by all the hearts she touched.
