David Mitchell, Sr.

David Mitchell Sr., of Red Level passed away September 24, 2024, at his residence after a lengthy illness.
Funeral services will be held at 12 o'clock Friday, September 27, 2024, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services. Rev. Ricky Landrum will officiate. Interment will follow in the River Falls City Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be David Bryan Mitchell, Damon Bush, Thomas Holloway, Darin Crittenden, Tommy Burges, and Eddie Hough.
Left to cherish his memory, loving wife of 53 years, Linda Mitchell; son, David Mitchell Jr., (Lori) of Kinston; daughters, Sue Walker (Wayne) of Andalusia; Angela Mitchell of Red Level; son at heart, Thomas Holloway; grandson, David Bryan Mitchell; 4 other grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren; brothers, Leon Mitchell (Frances) of Andalusia; Sarah Coleman of Phenix City.
He was preceded in death  brothers, Joseph Quinley, Claude Quinley, Johnny Mitchell, sisters Peggy Armstrong, Jenny Brogden, Evon Palmer and Bonnie Faye.  David loved to fish and do anything outdoors. He will be dearly missed.
