David Grimes

Mr. David Grimes, age 58 of Dozier passed away Sunday, June 12, 2022.
Graveside services will be held 2 p.m., Thursday, June 16, 2022 at Macedonia United Methodist Church Cemetery. Rev. JIMMY WILLIAMS will officiate. Serving as pallbearers will be Bo Ziglar, Drew Coon, Danny Zigler, Russell Gunter, Foy Gunter and Sic Raley.
He is survived by brothers, Raymond F. Grimes of Dozier; Tony Grimes of Andalusia; Donald Ray Grimes of Andalusia; sisters, Phyllis Grimes Maddox (Kenneth Raye) of Elba; Crystal Diane Grimes of Luverne; several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Sarah Frances Grimes; brothers, Charles Lavon Grimes and Donald Ray Grimes.
David was a 1982 graduate of Straughn High School and worked as a automotive mechanic most of his life; he loved hunting, fishing and most anything that was outdoors. He was greatly loved.
