Clyde Lynn Phinney

Clyde Lynn Phinney, age 57, passed away June 19, 2023, at Andalusia Health.  Originally born in Atlanta, Texas to Kenneth Wayne Phinney Sr. and Ruby Maye (Whitehead) Phinney, he grew up in a tight-knit family that remained close throughout the years.  After Clyde graduated high school, he became a long-haul truck driver until his health made that career impossible.  During this time, he met the lovely Shannon and made her his wife.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM, June 23, 2023, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel, (206 Stanley Avenue, Andalusia, AL).  Rev. Dwight Underwood will officiate.  Visitation will be from 6:00 PM-8:00 PM, Thursday, June 22, 2023, also at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel.  Interment will follow the funeral services at Beulah Cemetery, County Road 40, Opp, AL.  Pallbearers will be Marcus Williams, Nick Ziglar, Trae Lawson, Willie Baker, J.T. Toole, Jeremiah Toole, and Steve Stanley.

Left to cherish his memory is his wife Shannon Phinney of Opp. Brother, David Wade (Suzianne Ammons) Phinney of Loango.  Sister Bessie Alice (Willie Ross Baker III) Baker of Andalusia. Grandchildren, Amelia Marie Lawson and Adaline Brook Lawson.  Brother-In-Law, Aubrey Dale (Shannon Davis) Pike. Neices: Megan Marie (Trae) Pike Lawson, Amber (Nick) Ziglar, Angela K Herrera, Dixie Ann Brown, Kayla Savannah Hartsoe, Sylvia Marie Phinney. Nephews: Austin Phinney, Christopher Lee Phinney, Kenneth Wayne Phinney I, III.

Clyde is preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Ruby Phinney, brothers Kenneth Wayne Phinney, Jr., John Everett Phinney, James Edward Phinney, and Raymond Steve Phinney.  Also, one sister, Janice K. Phinney precedes him in death.
