Christopher Michael Grantham, age 44, of Andalusia, Alabama, passed away on January 11, 2026.
He was born on February 25, 1981, in Patuxent, Maryland, to Phillip Wade Grantham and Myra Jean Kelley Grantham. He was a lineman by trade and took great pride in his work. He was a 1999 graduate of Straughn High School, where he played baseball, football, and basketball.
He loved hunting, fishing, and enjoying life. He was known for his strong work ethic, love for the outdoors, and devotion to his family.
He is survived by his parents, Phillip Wade Grantham of Andalusia and Myra Jean Kelley Grantham of Andalusia; his son, Michael Layne Grantham of Straughn; his daughter, Emma Kate Grantham of Andalusia; his brothers, Phillip Grantham of Elba and Daniel Grantham of the Harmony Community; his maternal grandmother, Bertha Compton; and his two beloved dogs, Theo and Missie.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 14, 2026, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel in Andalusia, with Rev. Josh Wilson officiating. Burial will follow at Heath Church of Christ Cemetery on Highway 29. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 13, 2026, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Keahey Funeral Home.
Pallbearers will be Kevin Anderson, Ronnie Dixon, Clint Smith, Dave Morris, Alan Sanders, and Bricken Cope.
