Mr. Hagler was retired from Pike County Road Department. He enjoyed spending his time outside around the farm or sitting in his swing chatting with whoever stopped by to visit. He enjoyed telling you stories from days past and had a great memory of it all. One of his favorite things to do was cutting his grass along with other family and helped the county out by keeping the sides of the road cut. You could find him anytime of the day on his lawn mower. Charles lived a very simple life and loved it that way.
He was the son of the late Loyd and Lula Hagler. He is preceded in death by his wife Julie, sisters, Elizabeth, Bernice and Frances and a brother Junior.
He is Survived by four sisters, Judy (Mark) Ellenburg, Phenix City, Al, Janie Hagler, Clio, Al, Peggy Simmons, Blue Springs, Al, and Linda (Dudley) Oglesby, Ozark, AL. A host of nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews that he truly enjoyed spending time with.
