Charles Grimes Obituary

Mr. Charles Lavaughn Grimes of Dozier passed away Saturday, December 26, 2020, due to a house fire. He was 50.
A memorial service will be scheduled at a later date.
He is survived by brothers, Raymond Grimes of Dozier and David Grimes of Dozier, Tony Lamar Grimes of Lockhart; sister, Phyllis Marie Maddox (Ken) of Coffee County, Alabama; nieces and nephews, Kevin Maddox (Vicky), Crystal Grimes, Donald Grimes, Terry Grimes, and Cherina Grimes; a close friend, Bo Ziglar of Dozier.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ray Grimes and Sarah Senn Grimes; his wife, Laura Grimes in 2018.
Charles was a skilled mechanic and could build almost anything. When he was young he enjoyed farming.
