Billy Nelson

Mr. Billy Nelson, age 70 of Andalusia passed away March 6, 2023, in a Dothan hospital.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 3 p.m., Friday, March 10th at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services.

Left to cherish his memory, daughters, Tammy (David) McDuffie of Andalusia; Tracy (Michael McCarty) Ballard Ainsworth of Andalusia; son, Sammy Carter of Andalusia; brothers, Bobby Nelson of St. Augustine, Florida; Randy (Jennifer) of Babbie; sisters, Glenda (Kevin) Birge of Opp; Lois Cobb of Babbie; Betty Smith of Opp; Anita (Kevin) Butler of Andalusia; grandchildren, Nicholas Lawson, Devan (Keelie) McDuffie, Isabelle Ainsworth, Kelsey McCarty, Braden Ainsworth, Lindsay (Daton) Moore; great grandchildren, Legend Moore, Audrey Taylor and Finnleigh Taylor.

Billy drove a Propane Truck most of his career; he loved watching and listening to WAAO and especially “Party Line”; he listened to WAAO all day and all night! He was an avid deer hunter and loved “running the dogs” and had a passion for Classic Cars. Billy will be dearly missed.
