Billy Ele Obituary
Mr. Billy Dale Ele of Andalusia passed away on Thursday, September 9, 2020, at his residence. He was 87. He is survived by daughters, Dena Rae Joyce, and Denise Debra Cady; his caretaker and friend for the last few years, Wanda Fuller. Billy is preceded in death by his parents, Clifford Veral Ele and Mary C Claunch; and son, Billy Dean Ele. Mr. Ele served in the United States Airforce until his retirement. In 1984, Bill formed the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Mounted Posse and held the position of Captain until 1991. He was elected Board Member at Large in 1993 and again in 1994 and was elected Lt. of the South County from 1994-2000. Bill has always been ready to assist the Sheriff’s Office in any way he can from ATV patrol, Marine Duty, guarding crime scenes, backup and Christmas patrol. Bill will be missed by all who knew him.
