Betty (Joiner) Wilkinson

Mrs. Betty Joiner Wilkinson of Blue Springs passed away Tuesday, September 6, 2022, at her residence. She was 85.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, September 8, 2022, at Pine Level Baptist Church. Keahey Funeral Home directing. 

Left to cherish her memory, loving husband of 50 years, William "Billy" Wilkinson of Blue Springs; daughter, Cherry Wilkinson; grandchildren, Karla Smith, Lee Paramore, Richie Paramore, Nikki Crooks; great grandchildren, Kelly Jo Woodham, Eric Green, Holly Smith, Clay Paramore, Weslee Paramore, Robbie Murphy, Austin Cook, Marah Katelin Davis, Carter Paramore, Gracie Paramore, Riley Paramore, Hannah Crooks and Hue Etheridge; several great-great grandchildren.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to her caregiver, Adilene Slater, who Betty dearly loved.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Selma Joiner and Martha Louise Joiner and sister, Gayle Cook and brother, Jimmy Joiner.
Known and loved throughout the community as "Granny", she was a talented seamstress and for years did alterations in her home and she also loved to catch a fish!
