Bertha (Mema) Mae Henderson

Bertha (Mema) Mae Henderson, age 70 of Andalusia passed away January 1, 2024 in a Pensacola hospital. 
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, January 4, 2024 at Zion Hill Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the services. Rev. John McMath will officiate. Pall Bearers Russell Pettis, Christopher Beck, Ronnie Pettis, Joey Dahl, and Miko Stoudemire. Burial will follow at Zion Hill Baptist Church Cemetery. Keahey Funeral Home is directing. 
Left to cherish her memories, loving husband, Ollie Galford Henderson; children, Brian Henderson (Wendy) of Andalusia; Annette Pettis (Ronald) of Andalusia; Carolyn Harris of Andalusia; Lawrence Ammons of Andalusia; Ladon Ammons (Dena) of Pensacola, FL; grandchildren, Emily Beck (Christopher) of Andalusia; Johnny Henderson of Andalusia; Whitney Cook (Brittany); Alisha Dahl(Joey); Russell Pettis(Meagan); Deanna Johnson;great grandchildren, Madilyn Henderson, Brooklyn Henderson, Lyla Henderson, Xander Henderson, Sierra Berry, Andrew Berry, Breanna Hudson,Hunter Grimes, Luke Johnson,Tori Pettis,Summer Pettis, Ryley Pettis, and Hadley Pettis. Bertha Mae was preceded in death by her mother and father- Luler Burk and Homer Burk. Brothers-Leroy Burk and Eddis Burk. Granddaughter-Haley Henderson She was a faithful member of Zion Hill Baptist Church and a school bus driver for Straughn Schools. She will be greatly missed.
