Aundre Kension Cross, passed away Friday, November 1, 2024, at his residence.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at Pleasant Home Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Fred Kelley and Rev. Ashley McKathan will officiate. Keahey Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
Left to cherish his memory, daughter, Miriam Cross Romero (Roman) of Houston, TX; son, Barry Lee Cross of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Zachary Ryan Cross (Lindsey), Ashley Kristen Cross, Amanda Castaneda, Kenneth Adam Castaneda (Ha) great grandchildren, Kailyn Lane Tatum, Aubrey Cross, Libby Cross, Selena Castaneda, Amy Castaneda, Cammy Castaneda, Kenny Castaneda, Ellie Castaneda and a sister, Mary Brown of Mobile.
 Mr. Cross was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine DuBose Cross in 2016 and a son, Mark Aundre Cross in 2023. He attended Auburn University; during his career, he was a construction superintendent. He served in the U.S. Army and during the Korean Conflict. He was a member of Pleasant Home Baptist Church; was a sports enthusiast and a great lawnmower mechanic.
