Aubrey Dale Pike age 51 of Opp passed away Friday, August 1, 2025, at Andalusia Health. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Thursday, August 7th, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at Beulah Cemetery in Opp. Serving as pallbearers will be Brooks Lawson, Clay Ziglar, Joe Pike, Bryan Pike, Scott Rickett and Chris Grayson. He is survived by a son; Clay Ziglar., daughter; Megan Marie (Brooks Lawson) Pike., brother; Lane (Sheila) Hunt and David Hunt, sisters; Darlene (Art) Hesson and Shannon Phinney., grandchildren; Amelia Lawson and Adaline Lawson as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Dale was preceded in death by his parents; James Ellis and Mary Rebecca Pike., brother; Jamie Pike and a brother-in-law; Clyde Phinney.
Dale, affectionately known as “Pinky Dale” was an avid NASCAR and dirt track racing fan. He was a master mechanic and had owned and operated his own mechanic shop. Dale was also a big believer in Bigfoot and had gone on many hunts all around the southeast, where he had multiple sightings, including a local sighting at Simms Bridge in Gantt. He was greatly loved.
