Annie Merle Henderson

Mrs. Annie Merle Henderson of Opp passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2019. She was 84.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, November 12, 2019, at Cedar Grove Baptist Church. Rev. Monroe Sasser will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church. Interment will follow in the Cedar Grove Baptist Church cemetery.
Survivors include a son, Waylon Bruce Henderson of Opp; grandchildren, Justin Corey Andrews and Dustin Howard Andrews; four great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Monroe Henderson; son, Wesley Howard Andrews; brothers, Russell Lee McCurley, Vermon McCurley, Charles McCurley; sisters, Beatrice Grimes, Inez Jackson, Alene Catoe, and Dorothy Nell Turner.
She was born on October 13, 1935, to the late Walter Lee McCurley and Gladys Lee Cotton and worked as a machine operator for many years.
