Anne Katherine Le Brun was born in Maine December 20th, 1943, to Angelo le Brun, and Stella le Brun. She grew up in New Hampshire and spent several years attending a Catholic boarding school and was a talented classical pianist
As a teenager, Anne and her family moved to Boynton Beach, Florida. She graduated from Lake Worth high school in 1962.
She met and married Charles L Jernigan, and moved to Andalusia, Alabama, where she and Charles raised their seven children.
Anne was a devout Catholic with a deep love of Jesus Christ and had a great devotion to the Virgin Mary.
Anne cared deeply about her children, and with the help of Charles they were able to legalize homeschooling in the state of Alabama.
Anne was an ambitious and motivated entrepreneur with a passion to help people. Her extensive knowledge with herbal and holistic medicines, led her to open a health food store (the lavender shop) which she ran for many years.
Anne passed away peacefully and in God’s grace in the early morning hours of November 18, 2025
She is preceded in death by her husband, Charles, L Jernigan, and her daughter, Mary Beasley.
She is survived by her son’s Eddie., Michael, Joseph, and Daniel Jernigan. daughters, Catherine Sasser and Jennifer Owens.
Granddaughters, Jasmine, Diamond, Megan, Elizabeth, Laura, Jessica. Christina and Jenna.
Grandsons, Nickolas, Tony, Jonathan, Matthew, Justin, Patrick Jacob, Jared, Daniel, Elijah and Joseph.

The services will be held on Saturday, November 22, 2025 at Keahey Funeral Home. The rosary will be held at 9:30 a.m., followed by a time of receiving friends from 10 till 11 p.m. and the Mass being at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Adams Cemetery in the Antioch Community, following the committal service, friends and family are invited to the son, Joseph Jernigan’s home for refreshments and a time of fellowship with everyone.
