Angel B. Pearson, age 24 of Andalusia received her heavenly healing on December 24, 2023.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, December 29th at Keahey Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday at Keahey Funeral Home. Rev. Austin Sullivan will officiate and a eulogy will be given by an uncle, Marvin McGinnis. Burial will follow in the Zion Hill Baptist Church cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Marcus McGinnis, Adam Hill, Brandon Jeter and Jimmy Maughon. Honorary pallbearers will be uncles. Keahey Funeral Home is entrusted with the arrangements.
Left to cherish her beautiful memory, mother, Elvira McGinnis Hernandez and stepdad, Jhimmy Hernandez; brothers, Waylon Pearson (fiance’ Amanda Hinchliffe) of Orange City, Florida; Kenneth Pearson, Amanda Pearson; grandmother, Evelyn McGinnis McVay of Andalusia; 9 uncles, 4 aunts, numerous cousins; niece, Alice Pearson and nephews, Aiden Pearson and William Pearson. She was preceded in death by her twin brother, Anthony Pearson; grandfather, Elgin McVay, nephew, Ivan Pearson, aunts, Evelyn Biggs and Everetta Lunsford and cousin, Ross Stephens.
Angel was born with quadriplegia cerebral palsy and surpassed many odds with her strong will to live. She brighten anyone’s day who was around her. Her mother, who suffered from Parkinson’s disease, devoted every day of her life caring for her precious daughter.
