Allie Newton Obituary

Mrs. Allie B. Newton, at the age of 102, went to be with the Lord on February 5, 2020. She was surrounded by her loving family.

A graveside service will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, February 7, 2020, at Five Runs Cemetery. Rev. Jack Taylor will officiate.

Left to cherish her memory, son, Leon W. Newton (B.J.) of Snellville, GA; daughters, Mary Tottle of Apopka, FL; Norma Jean Maulden (Ralph Rizzo) of Lockhart, FL; Jewel Taylor (Richard) of Opp, AL.; Stephanie Padgett, 8 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Randy B. Newton.

Though a homemaker all her life, she was described as a “jack of all trades”; she loved to dance and was also fond of the “slot machines”, her favorite place to celebrate a birthday was at a Casino! She loved Atmore and Biloxi; her 102nd birthday was celebrated with family and friends at Winn Creek Casino!
