Mrs. Geraldine Faust of Conecuh County passed away Friday, July 5, 2019 at her residence. She was 85. Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, July 7, 2019 at Sweet Home Baptist Church. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the church. Rev. Alan Joiner will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Ethan Faust, Dustin Faust, Cliff Faust, Alex Faust, Jacob Faust and Byron Presley. Left to cherish her memory is her sons, Wayne Lee (Kim) Faust of Thomasville, Al; Steve Lavon (Jana) Faust of McKenzie; daughter, Sharon Lynn (Byron) Presley of Folkston, Georgia; grandchildren, Cliff (Leah) Faust, Alex (Amanda) Faust, Jacob Faust, Ethan (Sarah) Faust and Dustin Faust; great grandchildren, Lee Cox, Caroline Faust, Harper Faust and Emma Faust. Born September 30, 1933 to William Moab Chesser and Ethel Lucille Rodenberry; Mrs. Faust was preceded in death by her parents and her loving husband, Clyde Faust in 2016. She was famous for her fried apple tarts and beautiful crochet work and loved spending time with her family.
