Ms. Velinda Diane “Lulu” Lunsford, age 57, of Florala (formerly of Rose Hill), passed away Tuesday, March 6, 2018, at her residence. She loved hunting Easter eggs and getting “Big One” teddy bears and t-shirts.

She is survived by her brothers and sisters: Bruce (Karen) Lunsford of Dozier, Larry D. Lunsford of Florala, Teddy (Everetta) Lunsford of Heath, Judy (Tom) Jones of Florala, Marta (Bobby) Godwin of Luverne, Sherry (Kenny) Merrill of Gantt, Terry (Diane) Mears of Brantley, and Perry (Kimberlynn) Mears of Dozier.

Funeral services will be at 11:00 A.M. Friday, March 9, 2018, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel of Andalusia with Rev. Gary Holloway officiating. Interment will follow at Goodnews Chapel Cemetery in Rose Hill. Serving as pallbearers: Bobby Godwin, Tom Jones, Zack Lunsford, Kenny Merrill, Kevin Lunsford, Mike Lunsford and Brandon Jeter.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to funeral services at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel, 10:00 A.M. until 11:00 A.M. Friday, March 9, 2018.
