Shirley Ann Edgar Obituary

Mrs. Shirley Ann Colbert Edgar, age 65, of Andalusia, passed away Saturday, July 7, 2018 at her residence. Mrs. Edgar was the daughter of the late Joseph Colbert and Porta (Hufstetler) Colbert. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She devoted her life to being a homemaker. She loved to paint and her work was in many homes in Andalusia.

Survivors include her loving husband of 34 years, Douglas Edgar of Andalusia; her sons, Clayton “Poe” (Jennifer) Edgar of Andalusia; Dustin (Jessica) Edgar of Andalusia; Casey Blackwood and Amanda Turner of Andalusia; her grandchildren, Atlas Edgar, Lulu Edgar, Apollo Edgar, Lillie Turner, and Xander Hare; her brothers, Bobby Colbert of Florida and Alvin Colbert of Missouri; and her sisters, Linda Holt and Jeanne Hawkes. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Joseph Colbert and Alfred Colbert.

The family will have a private service on the family’s property on Saturday, July 14, 2018.
