Robert Andrews Obituary
Mr. Robert E. Andrews, age 70, of the Leonia Community (Ponce de Leon, FL), passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018, at his residence. He was both a U.S. Navy and U.S. Army National Guard veteran who retired after 40 years of service to his country.
He is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Betty Andrews of Leonia; his children, Rita (Robert) Carroll of Ponce de Leon and Joanie Watson Wade of Hartford, AL; two grandchildren, Jerry “Scooter” Carroll and wife Kitrena of Ponce de Leon, FL, and Nelson Watson and Kelly of Hartford, AL; nine great-grandchildren; and his brother, Sanford Andrews of California.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, October 3, 2018, at the family’s residence in Ponce de Leon with Rev. Wayne Carroll and Rev. Uvonne Carroll officiating. Burial will follow in the Carroll Family Cemetery in Ponce de Leon, FL.
The family will have an “old fashioned wake” and will receive friends from 4:00 P.M. Tuesday, October 2, 2018, at the family home in Ponce de Leon (Leonia).
