Richard Tarey Obituary

Mr. Richard Charles Tarey of Opp passed away Saturday, September 29, 2018 at his residence. He was 88.

Survivors include his loving wife of 65 years, Lois Rose Tarey of Opp; children and spouses, Nancy (Edward) Wolcott of Leicester, New York; Charles R. (Cathy) Tarey of Wyoming, New York; Kathleen A. (Edward) Evans of Babbie; William A. (Debbie) Tarey of Andalusia; Martin J. (Daphanie) Tarey of Elba; 16 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m., Monday, October 1, 2018 at the Keahey Chapel with Rev. Jerry Elmore and Bro. Joe Jackson officiating. Burial will follow at Stone Lake Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to services. Serving as pallbearers are: Jason Tarey, Ronnie Machen, John Ard, Justin Pruitt, Paul Evans and Charlie Tarey.
