Mrs. Reba Lavonia Baxley Campbell of Ariton passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2019, in a Dothan hospital. She was 81.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, November 22, 2019, at Sykes Creek Baptist Church. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to services. Rev. Kenneth Andrews and Rev. Kenneth Earles will officiate. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
Mrs. Campbell was a 1955 graduate of Blue Springs School and a long-time member of Sykes Creek Baptist Church. She enjoyed spending time in her flower garden.
Left to cherish her memory is James “Bunk” Campbell, her loving husband of 64 years; daughters, Brenda Evans (Jerry Watson) of Eufaula; Christie (Jason) Copeland of Ariton; JoAnn Senn (AB) of Ariton; brother, Dennis (Georgia Ann) Baxley of Abbeville; sisters, Gloria Peters, Marie (Burt) Collins of Eva, Al , Ruby Nell Olds of Clayton; Elaine Ryals of Ft. Mitchell, Al; grandchildren, Angie (Rob) Pratt, Jodie (Calvin) Grace, Brandie (Ceaser) Trujillo, Kayla (Richard) Shaw, Trey (Savannah) Evans, Erika (Nick) Lopez, Jenny Senn and Haley Watson; 17 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Campbell is preceded in death by her mother, father, brother, sister, granddaughter, and great-grandson.
Serving as pallbearers will be, Trey Evans, Rob Pratt, Richard Shaw, Calvin Grace, Nick Lopez, Ceaser Trujillo and Honorary pallbearer, Evan Pratt.
