Mrs. Odessa Stanton of Kinston, Alabama passed away at her home on Thursday, July 20, 2017. She was 75. She is survived by three sons; PJ Stanton of Kinston, AL, Louey (Sharon) Stanton of Gainesville, FL, and Kenneth (Misty) Stanton of Kinston, AL; one daughter, Debbie (Robert) Beck of Kinston, AL; two brothers, Rayford (Gwen) Gilmore of Kinston, AL and Norman Clarence Gilmore of Kinston, AL; two sisters, Evelyn (Robert) Marshall of Kinston, AL and Barbara Neeley of Kinston, AL; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, AJ Stanton; her parents, Allen and Myrtis Gilmore; daughters, Patricia Fogarty and Rita Creech; her son, Jackie Stanton and sister, Dorothy Sullivan. Funeral arrangements for Mrs. Stanton will be Sunday, July 23, 2017 at 2 pm at Pilgrims Rest Baptist Church in Lowery with visitation one hour prior to service. Interment will be in the cemetery at Newton / Bethel Baptist Church.
