Michelle King

Ms. Bridget Michelle King, of Birmingham (formerly of Andalusia), passed away unexpectedly Thursday, April 11, 2019, in Jefferson County.  She was 36 and a mother to five beautiful children. Michelle was a 2000 graduate of Pleasant Home High School. She was an honor student and a member of the Beta Club. She was loved by all who knew her.

She is survived by her precious children, 17-year-old Alex King, 8-year-old Reagan King, 3-year-old Kylie Thompson, 3-year-old Kinsey Thompson, and 3-month-old Kaden Thompson; her parents, Thomas King (father) and Laura Cooper (mother); one brother, Joshua King; and one sister, Brandie Hughes.

Michelle was preceded in death by, brother, Shaun Hughes; sister, Oliva Hughes; maternal grandparents, Jack and Claudia Cooper; paternal grandparents; Bill King and Gwen Hagwood.

Funeral services will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, April 27, 2019, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel in Andalusia; with Pastor Waylon Bush officiating. The family will receive friends from 8:30 A.M until the time of service in Keahey Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow Andalusia Memorial Cemetery; with Keahey Funeral Home of Andalusia directing.
