Mrs. Melissa Mearl Rugg, of Andalusia, age 56, passed away May 4, 2019, at her residence.

She is survived by her daughter, Lashana Scarbough of…; two sons, Joshua Fuller of Dothan, and Christopher Lloyd of Opp; eight grandchildren; one brother, Phillip Brunson of Dothan; and three sisters, Glenda Hurst of Opp, Pamela (Johnny) Carter of the Antioch Community, and JoAnn Brunson of Opelika. Mrs. Rugg was preceded in death by two husbands, Kenny Rugg, and Moe Moser; and her son, Brad Kelly.

Mrs. Rugg worked as a C.N.A. for over 25 years at Opp Health and Rehab and at Florala Health and Rehab. When she was not working, she enjoyed yard work and fishing.

A memorial service will be held 1:00 P.M. – 3:00 P.M. Saturday, May 18, 2019, at the Horn Hill Community Center; with Rev. Janice Carnely officiating. Keahey Funeral Home of Andalusia is entrusted with arrangements.
