Mary (Cox) Rutland

Mrs. Mary Alice Cox Rutland, age 82, of Clio, passed away Monday, February 19, 2018, at Southeast Medical Center in Dothan.  She retired from the Barbour County Board of Education as an administrative assistant and was a member of Calvary Assembly of God Church in Clio.

Mary is survived by her son, Danny Cox of Banks, AL; her granddaughter, Lynn (Doug) Powell of Tenille, AL; her great-grandchildren, D.J. Powell, Blake Powell and Daniel Powell; her brothers- in law, Aubrey (Betty) Cox of Clio and Jacky Cox of Clio; two sisters-in-law, Helen Cox of Clio and Sara Nell Urquhart of Lithonia, GA; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by two husbands, Charles Cox and M.H. Rutland.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Thursday, February 22, 2018, at Calvary Assembly of God Church in Clio with Rev. Randy Adams officiating.  Interment to follow at Blue Springs Word of Truth Cemetery in Clio.  Keahey Funeral Home of Clio is in charge of arrangements.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 21, 2018, at Calvary Assembly of God Church in Clio.
