Mrs. Linda Jean Richardson of Elba passed away unexpectedly Thursday, November 21, 2019, at her residence. She was 54.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m., Sunday, November 24, 2019, at Elba Deliverance Tabernacle (2049 Taylor Mill Road). Rev. Alan Richards will officiate. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to services. Cremation as final memorialization. Keahey Funeral Home is entrusted with arrangements.
Left to cherish her memory is Tommy Richardson, her loving husband of 21 years; children, Christina (Jake) Daniels of Midland City; Amanda Dodd of Texas; Melinda (Pasco) Lindsey of Niceville, Fl; Will Dodd of Jack; Sonya Dodd (Luke) Grantham of Jack; Jesse (Alyssa) Dodd of Mobile; Billy (Silenia) Richardson of New Brockton; Selina (Adam) Martinelli of Elba; grandchildren, Emma Parker, Micah Lindsey, Liam Lindsey, Paytlynn Davis, Sophia Davis, Lillian Dodd; brothers, Steve (Kim) Strickland of Enterprise, Michael (Crystal) Strickland of Enterprise, Billy Ray Strickland of Enterprise; George Strickland of Enterprise; sister, Lou Ann Matthews of Enterprise.
Born November 2, 1965, to Cecil Strickland and Betty Lou Fennell, she was preceded in death by her parents, a son, Jonathan Richardson, a sister, Susie Baxley and a brother, David Strickland. Mrs. Richardson loved worshipping at Elba Deliverance Tabernacle Church, enjoyed listening to country music, loved flowers and looking at photos of the family but most of all was a HUGE Alabama fan! She will be greatly missed.
