Ida Katherine (Robinette) Shaw, age 92, of Montgomery, Alabama, ascended to Heaven on Saturday, Oct. 21, 2017, in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida.   She is survived by her children:  Kaye Alton of Birmingham, AL, Bobbie (Paul) Harrell of Freeport, FL, and Susan (Mitch) Smith of Laurel Hill, FL; her grandchildren:  Lynn Woodworth, Craig Williamson, Rob Tatum, Tonia Wimberly, Charlie Crook, Amy Peek, Molly Watson, Seasons Moore, James Jordan, Trey Crook, Lee Smith, and Phillip Smith; several great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and nieces and nephews; and special friend, Vicki Bacon.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Edgar and Ida Robinette; her husband, Robert C. Shaw; eleven siblings; two daughters, Carol Bowden and Faye Casey; and her grandson, Chris Jordan.  

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, October 27, 2017, at Pea River Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Highway 51 North, Clio, Alabama.  There will be a reception to follow at the George C. Wallace Heritage Building in Clio.
