Johnny Thompson

Mr. Johnny Frank Thompson, age 52, of Andalusia, passed away Sunday, May 5, 2019, at his residence.

Mr. Thompson is survived by his wife of 12 years, Amy King Thompson; four children, Justin (Heather) Thompson of Andalusia, Bryan (Amber) Gay of Andalusia, Chris (Allie) Gay of Andalusia, and Cortney (Jordan) Pettie of Babbie, AL; eight grandchildren: Brayden, Rylan, and Jackson Pettie , Trinity, Judah, and Michelle Thompson, Bryan Gay Jr., and Parrish Gay of Andalusia; his father and mother, Bennie (Sherry) Thompson of Opp; one brother, Jody (Tina) Thompson of Opp;  mother-in-law and father-in-law, Faye and Eugene Lee of Opp; and father-in-law and mother-in-law,  Richard and Debbie King of Opp.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Genelle Grice Thompson; sister, Michelle Leigh Thompson; an infant sister, and an infant brother.

Mr. Thompson worked as a welder for a majority of his life.  In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and working in his yard.  He also had a love for camping; although, his favorite pastime was spending time with those he loved most, his family and friends.

A memorial service will be held in his honor 2:00 P.M. June 8, 2019, at Mt. Pisgah Church of God.  All family and friends are invited to attend.
