Mrs. Jewel Doster Baker of Ozark passed away on October 6, 2019, at her residence. She was 72.
Funeral services will be 12:30 pm., Wednesday, October 9, 2019, at Keahey Funeral Home Chapel of Clio. Rev. Brad Sasser and Rev. Harold Peters will officiate. Special music will be provided by Dee Ann RolI. Interment will follow in the Pleasant Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 11:00 am., Wednesday, October 9, 2019, at Keahey Funeral Home of Clio.
Mrs. Baker is survived by her loving husband, Wilton Baker of Ozark; children, Angela (Billy) Everly of Hilliard Fl., Kevin (Kym) Baker of Ozark, Angela Godwin of Headland, and Allan (Amy) Baker, of Headland, son-in-law, Dan Riccotilla. Grandchildren, Erica (Chris) Carroll of Jacksonville, Fl., Olivia Riccotilla, and TJ Riccotilla, two sisters, Catherine Doster of Elamville and Vela Mae Segars of Georgetown, Georgia; brother, J.D. Doster of Brundidge and a special caregiver friend, Carol Price McRae. The family would like to thank all the wonderful personnel at Encompass Hospice.
Mrs. Baker was an active member of Salem Baptist Church; she also enjoyed spending time with friends at the Clio Senior Citizen Hall and especially loved spending time with her grandkids. She was a very talented painter and enjoyed many hours doing so. She was preceded in death by her parents, J.T. and Gladys Flowers Doster, husband, Travis English, daughters, Tammy English and Pamela Riccotilla, and son-in-law, Mike Godwin.
Serving as pallbearers will be, Shane Bowman, Andrew Bowman, Derek Sasser, Lewis Williamson, Bobby Aldridge, and Kevin Messer.
