Jeanette Moore, 93, went peacefully into the arms of her heavenly Father on December 3, 2019, after a short illness. Until 2008, she spent her adult life in Andalusia, Alabama, where she and her husband owned and operated a GM car/truck dealership. She kept the accounting records for all the franchises.

She was a long-time faithful leader and servant at the First Baptist Church of Andalusia, where she led the Children’s Bible Drill, taught youth Sunday School, led children’s worship, mentored young ladies, and served on numerous committees. In 2008, she moved to Parkway Village in Little Rock and became active in Immanuel Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, John Hartwell and Irene Baggett Floyd; her husband of 43 years, Lamar Moore; and her son, Jimmy Moore. She is survived by a sister, Joyce Diehl of Walnut Creek, California; her son, David Moore (Becky) of Little Rock; two granddaughters, Holly Reding of Little Rock and Joy Moore of Jackson, Tennessee; and three great-grandsons, Isaiah, Eli and Benjamin Reding.

The family will receive visitors beginning at 1:00 p.m. prior to the memorial service to be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 7, in the chapel at Immanuel Baptist Church. On Monday, there will be a graveside service at 11:00 a.m. at Andalusia City Cemetery, followed by visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. and a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Andalusia.
