A memorial service will be held 2 p.m., Sunday, November 26, 2017 at New Home Baptist Church. Rev. Cliff Morris and Rev. Charles Mitchell will officiate. Special music will be provided by Jewel Mitchell, Pamela Bond and Ashley Sasser. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to services on Sunday. Keahey Funeral Home is entrusted with services.

Survivors include daughters, Annette (Jeff) Etheridge of Red Level; Tammy Ezell of Brantley; brother, Donald Mitchell of Nebraska, sisters, Hazel Mitchell of Red Level and Betty Reynolds of Greenville, grandchildren, Eric Odom, Dusty Odom, Tess Merritt, Drew Nixon, Tatum Taylor, Tristan Taylor and several great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Walden in 2013.
