Mr. James Lavon Spears age 82, of Andalusia passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at his residence.

There will be graveside services with full military honors by the United States Air Force, 11 am Saturday, March 25 at the Antioch Cemetery with Keahey Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at 10 a.m. at the Funeral Home Chapel until time to depart for the cemetery.

Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Vinson Spears; sons, James Timothy (Melissa) Spears of Destin Fl and Forest Spears of Montgomery, Al; daughters, Mary Ann (Terry) Burns of Tallahassee Fl, Debra Spears of Ft.Walton, and Margaret Folmar of Phoenix Az; grandchildren, Shauna Spears, Caroline Vay Spears, and Nathan Folmar; two great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his son, James Lavon Spears Jr.
